Rookwood Cemetery
Rookwood Cemetery, established in 1867, is one of the oldest cemeteries in Australia that is still in full usage. It is the largest cemetery in the Southern Hemisphere. Rookwood contains a fascinating record of Australian history from the Victorian era until today, with over a million people from many faiths and denominations buried in its grounds.

Macquarie Park Cemetery
Established in 1922, Macquarie Park Cemetery is a fully operational cemetery on a beautiful and peaceful lot of Crown land in North Ryde, Sydney. It is part of the Northern Cemeteries.

Botany Cemetery
Botany Cemetery, also known as Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park Cemetery, is an historic, tranquil cemetery servicing many of Sydney’s faiths and denominations, located in Matraville. It has been in usage since its first burial in 1893. Botany Cemetery is managed by Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries NSW.
Waverley Cemetery
Waverley Cemetery is a heritage-listed cemetery overlooking the ocean from atop the coastal cliffs between Bronte and Clovelly Beaches of Sydney’s eastern suburbs. It was opened in 1877 and is of heritage significance for its Victorian and Edwardian sandstone and marble monuments. It is considered one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world.
